Cruisebuff2950 Posted February 16, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 16, 2017 Looking to find out as much as I can about the cruise ship Westerdam. Looking to sail on her soon but have never sailed with HAL lines before. Is the ship well maintained? What is the entertainment like? What is the food like? kapear Posted February 16, 2017 #2 Share Posted February 16, 2017 We sailed the Westerdam over the Christmas holidays and had a great time. The ship appeared to be in fine condition. The crew was always cleaning and maintaining the ship. We found the entertainment to be good, better than the entertainment was on the Volendam over the summer. BB Kings was always packed. While not "entertainment", the casino staff was quite friendly and personable. Several in our group of 17 spent a fair amount of time in the casino. We enjoyed the food in the main dining room, lido,pool-side options, and the pinnacle grill. We at most of our morning meals in the pinnacle, as we had the option to do so with our cabin. We ate many hamburgers and tacos by the pool. We had no issues on this cruise and would gladly sail the Westerdam again. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
