Hey Danno - I Saw Your Ship

There I was on board the Constellation last week having breakfast in the buffet as we docked in Freeport. Out of the corner of my eye I see another ship approcahing. Another look and I realize it is a Celebrity ship. As it gets closer I'm looking for the name on the bow. Finally, I can make out the name. Scrawled in small letters is the name Island Star. They had already painted over the Horizon name. There were some cargo containers sitting on the upper deck and it looked like had already torn some things down on the back of the ship. She was heading for the dry dock area. What a shame.

I was on the Constellation also and I felt sad when I saw the Horizon. She was still sitting there, sad and lonely, when we left Freeport. I took my first Celebrity cruise on Horizon, and many more after that. I'll miss her.

We did the 2nd to last Bermuda cruise on her last month. Truly a beautiful ship and I will miss her. Best food and staff on the seas.
