Is there any way to find out which nights of our 7 night Mercury Alaska cruise are formal, which are informal, etc.? We are going to miss dinner on the ship the 3rd night of the cruise because of our shore excursion; it sure would be nice to know which clothes I can take out of my already bulging suitcases!

On my Celebrity and Splendour of the Seas 7 days cruises formal nights were #2 and #6.

On Celebrity both nights were during days at sea.

On Splendour #6 night was in Naples and was probably not convinient for some people with early seating.

I guess #2 and #6 are standard formal nights.

Tatka is correct. Usually the second and sixth night are formal. We were on one were they changed days on ports, hence, changing the second formal night. They do try to make sure that the excursions do not interfere. Have a fun safe cruise!!!

Thanks for the replies...do you think a casual night would usually follow a formal night? (It's night 3 I'll miss).
