TeanneTX Posted February 19, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 19, 2017 We will be arriving on 10/29 at Sydney on RCCL Explorer of the Seas. We're staying at the Sir Stamford at Circular Quay. I was wondering if we could use UBER to get from the port to the hotel rather than a taxi. I don't know if the ports allow UBER drivers to get near the ships due to security reasons? The_Big_M Posted February 19, 2017 #2 Share Posted February 19, 2017 I honestly don't think either a taxi or Uber will take you. (Although I suppose if you pay the minimum Uber fare they won't mind.) You're only about 150m from the hotel!
MrYellowDuck Posted February 19, 2017 #3 Share Posted February 19, 2017 Closer to 500m along the flat with wide open pedestrian access for all but the last little bit. This couldn't be easier unless you have mobility issues or a massive amount of luggage.
