Carleeb12 Posted February 22, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 22, 2017 I know they drain and refill them a few times during a cruise, but I don't know when they typically do this.
Justyman87 Posted February 22, 2017 #2 Share Posted February 22, 2017 Mostly the pools should be open when in port, I can't remember a cruise where the main pool was closed. I've had times where the smaller pools have been closed while in port, but never the main one.
Rare MisterOJ2 Posted February 22, 2017 #3 Share Posted February 22, 2017 I think for the most part, the pools are serviced at night when they've closed for the evening.
SNJCruisers Posted February 22, 2017 #4 Share Posted February 22, 2017 It's the best time to use the pools and waterslides, when most passengers are visiting the port. Especially if you're going to Freeport or Nassau, you get to stay on the ship and enjoy the amenities and have a short line at lunch at Mongolian Wok. OCruisers Posted February 22, 2017 #5 Share Posted February 22, 2017 Absolutely! Some stay on the ship on port days just to have a less crowded day at the pool. ;)
