Bungalow or cabana on CocoCay?

I haven't been to CocoCay in 4 years, I already had a bungalow reserved for our April sailing and yesterday an Ocean View Deluxe Cabana  at The Island Oasis Cabana Club became available to book online.

I reserved that too until I decide which one is more desirable.

So... give me the pros and cons of each :D The price difference is minimal.

Thanks!

Are you in a suite? Previously cabanas were only available to suites unless not all booked once on ship. I am in a suite and had contacted concierge asking to book one and he replied they just changed it to online booking, but I didn't know if this is still only for suite guests?

I am not in a suite this time, the only other time I was at CocoCay we were and the Concierge did have to book it.

I was very surprised when I was able to grab one online 45 days before our sailing!

Thank you for letting me know you spoke to the Concierge and they confirmed the online booking change because I was thinking it was another glitch and afraid to let go of the bungalow wondering if they would cancel my cabana

So anyway that doesn't seem right for the suite guests since that was a nice perk not having to worry about cabanas selling out.

You being up a solid point. The concierge did email me and told

me to book asap so I would have one but did not say if it was still limited to only suite guests, if I were you I would make sure I print out the confirmation to have on hand incase the IT screwed

up and was only Supposed to let suite guests book but instead let everyone. This way you show it's paid and there should be no question. Paid is paid, what should they care what level cabin you are.

Is your cruise coming up soon? Usually the concierge doesn't e-mail until 5 days before so there will be a lot of upset suite guests in the future since there are only 14 cabanas to go around!

I found the email online and took a shot last month and emailed him. I

Was really nervous to get a cabana

Bc it's a surprise present for my husband for his 40th (the actual day we are on the island) so concierge said he could not

Book it for me until a week before but he put me on his reminder list. When this new system came about

He emailed me, amazing service I would say!
