ILWU13 Posted February 25, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 25, 2017 On Debarkation day, we have a flight out of FCO at 420 pm will we have ample time to make our flight. I have worked as a porter on the ships out of Los Angeles and most passengers are off by midday. Is that pretty much the same for this itinerary
hawkeyetlse Posted February 25, 2017 #2 Share Posted February 25, 2017 When we were on the Epic for this itinerary, the arrival time in Civitavecchia was 6am. They might adjust the schedule for the upcoming season, but it won't be wildly different. They need disembarking passengers off the ship well before noon, because they've usually started boarding the next group of passengers by then. The disembarkation leaflet will indicate the latest time you can stay on board; it's usually like 10am. On this itinerary you might be able to push it a little later, because they don't need to clear the ship of passengers like on US cruises. But all the same, your cruise is over and they want you gone (even if you are in no rush to go anywhere).
Quilting_Cruiser Posted February 25, 2017 #3 Share Posted February 25, 2017 I'm on the same itinerary later this year and have booked a flight from FCO a few hours earlier than that. You shouldn't have any trouble making that flight--you're giving yourself more than enough time! :D

Rome-to-Rome is a secondary itinerary. Disembarking passengers are usually asked to be out of their rooms by 8 am and off the ship by 10:00 am. It is similar for passengers doing the Rome round trip.
