Atlantis Nassau

We have not been to Atlantis for years. The last time we took a cab from the port, gambled at the casino and window shopped the shops and grounds, and had lunch in one of the restaurants. Is this still possible or is there a fee for everything now. We did the aquarium so not interested in that.

You can still access the casino, shopping area, and the sit down restaurants, but everything else, even just walking the gardens between towers, now needs a day pass bracelet. Also be aware that the restaurants and lounge areas now require a credit card or resort gift card for payment, they are trying to be cashless like the ship's are. Cash is still accepted in the casino, the casino bars, and the chain stores.

We were just in Atlantis in October. We weren't overly impressed.

We opted to take a Ferry boat from the dock to Atlantis. It was the same price as the cab, but nice to ride across the water.

We had to have a day pass to go through the Aquarium and we were not overly impressed. We probably could have walked through it w/out the day pass and no one would have known. The Casino was DEAD ... maybe about 20 people in there total. We played a little, but did not find the machines as conducive as those on the ship.

We walked the grounds and the shops ... found them to be a little pricier than some of the other ports we stopped in. JMO. We also thought the restaurant pricing was a bit on the high side and opted to just have a late lunch when we got back on the boat ... after all, we already paid for the food on the boat.
