I've been looking across the web and not finding a clear answer about the 2nd bedroom and bath on the Epic (H4).

Is the room big enough for 2 adults (my parents, 65 and 69)? Dad is about 5'10" 185lbs, Mom is 4'11" 160lbs.

I just want to be sure that when the 2nd bed is made up that it's big enough that they can sleep together and be pretty comfortable. They have a King bed at home but a Queen bed in their RV/caravan (which they share with a dog).

Would one be able to get out to use the bathroom if the other is in bed?

I realize it's not luxurious sized but would it be big enough? If I book this room it would save me about $1,300 compared to getting to Spa Suites (like-for-like all in.... including buying spa passes if we get the H4, etc)

I'd love to hear your experiences or at least get your response to the survey

I wouldn't put adults in there IMHO. Too small. We used it for when our kids were young but now as teens they split up and use the pull out in the living room as they fell the room is cramped for two people.

If it's a factor, don't forget that the UBP and SDP are only for the first two people in the cabin, so the parents wouldn't get those if you went with the H4.

It will be fine. Given that they will have full access to your living room area and then the entire Haven, it will be much preferred over a regular balcony room with no Haven access if that's what you are thinking.

My 2 teen daughters (5'10 ish) with enough luggage to live for a few years, were fine in there. One gets ready at a time while the other enjoys the living room space/balcony in the main cabin. And yes, there's plenty of room to open the bathroom door with the bed pulled out. How could that even not be possible?! There's definitely more room than you must be envisioning!

It's made for 2 people to sleep, shower, dress, etc. You're over thinking.

It's a bedroom with toilet, hanging clothes room and shower. The bed is certainly usable for two and the facilities are more comprehensive than many bedrooms on land. It's not a living room because that is what the main part of the suite is for. It is certainly small, but you can get round it all. If the adults have used a bed in an RV I guess they will feel at home in there at night.

The main issue surrounds perks and offers. As full Haven guests they would be able to make the most of all Haven facilities and the space in the courtyard more than makes up for the small bedroom if the alternative is a non-Haven cabin. The limits on the offers work the other way in that they only cover two in each suite. The Haven restaurant on the Epic makes up a little for not getting the specialist meals so it depends what the parents want.

Thanks for the responses so far!

I've factored in needing to pay for 1 UBP (mom doesn't drink) and 2 *3-meal specialty dining. I've also included buying 4 spa passes, so I can truly compare costs of this vs 2 Haven Spa Suites. Even with all the add-in's, the 2BR still comes in $1.6K less.

We had DW, MIL, BIL, and me in the cabin. The MIL got the smaller bedroom - it would not be comfortable with two adults in there with luggage. The BIL slept on the sofa bed, but found it to be uncomfortable. We had three people rotate through the master bath. The "living room" is pretty tight with four adults sitting there at one time or moving about. Luckily, we were on a western Med cruise so we spent little time in the cabin. The master bedroom was awesome and roomy.

In hindsight, I would share with it among two adults and two children, but not four adults if you plan to spend time in the cabin other than sleeping and showering.

You probably won't be allowed to just buy the one UBP - when buying it ( instead of getting it free from the promo) I believe all passengers in the cabin must have it, so you'll be buying two.

We had 3 in a Haven suite and only 2 had the drink package. There was NEVER a problem getting 2 drinks with one card. One of the bartenders at a non Haven bar told us they give 2 drinks on one card as long as they are under $15 each. Only once was I asked for a second card outside Fat Cats but she was already gone and he seemed OK with it.
