Zika Virus Alert

I received an email yesterday for rccl which sent me to a govt site that showed certain islands...well actually most... had Zika Virus concerns.

 

I haven't heard anything about this in a long time. While I am not concerned, I was just surprised.

I think the news organizations have been focused on other things lately.

We got the notice a few days before our cruise. We're not in the target groups so we weren't worried. Saw no bugs anyway. I'm sure there were some there, we just weren't tasty enough.

We were in the Caribbean for 2 weeks earlier this year and didn't get any bites. I wouldn't be worried about it. We didn't even see many bugs. That's one reason why we love the Caribbean! :D
