If so what is it?

Hi Susie!

Christmas Eve includes cute touches like milk and cookies at turndown and a special storytime. Read all about Disney's Merrytime Cruises (typically Thanksgiving through Christmas) here.

From our Holidays Onboard feature:

Christmas: "Very Merrytime Cruises" run from early November through the New Year. During these sailings, passengers can enjoy holiday-themed crafts like making gingerbread houses and decorating stockings, Dickens-inspired carolers, holiday storytellers and a tropical deck party. Disney characters will host Mickey's Tree-Lighting Magic on the first night of the cruise, when the three-deck-tall Christmas tree will be lit. At Santa's Winter Wonderland Ball, passengers can celebrate the arrival of Santa and Mrs. Claus with Broadway-style entertainment, holiday music, dressed-up characters and a "snowfall" in the atrium, courtesy of the "Frozen" princesses.

A midnight mass is planned for Christmas Eve. Church services are also planned for Christmas Day, along with visits from Santa Claus in the atrium and Christmas feasts in all three main restaurants. Disney's private island, Castaway Cay, will become a tropical winter wonderland -- complete with "snow," a Christmas tree, Disney character meet-and-greets and holiday island music.

New Year's Eve: There will be a shipwide party on New Year's Eve with a countdown to 2017, featuring sparkling wine in commemorative flutes and music.

Happy Cruising!

I was trying to address Christmas Day in particular as that is what OP asked. THe Merrytime activities start right after Halloween and extend thru New Years. There are a few add on things for Christmas Eve/Day that are in addition to the "Merrytime" activities.

We have done several Christmas cruises on different lines and Disney definitely does the most. In addition to the Merrytime activities, they had a huge cookie spread. An earlier post mentioned cookies at turn down, but when we did the cruise, this was basically like a cookie buffet in the atrium where you could get cookies and milk for yourself, or to bring back and put out for Santa.

They also gave a limited addition print to all cabins on the Christmas cruise.

One of our favorite activities was the gingerbread house making. It was great to have everything done and no clean up, and it tasted great!
