Typically terminal doors open for check-in around 10:00 and priority boarding (suites, 4*/5*) will begin around 11:30.

Around Dec 2010 HAL began a "Rooms Direct" program. (Not sure if that's the exact term.) In the 6 years since, just one time our boarding was delayed about 20 minutes because not all the rooms were ready yet.

We like to get to the pier between 10:30 and 10:45 to get in line.

Some times the doors open before 11 Am for going through security and check in.

Boarding usually begins at 11:30 AM -- wheelchair and Pinnacle Suites go first. Then Neptune Suites, 4 and 5 star Mariners and scooters. After that they start calling numbers for all other passengers.

Cabins are usually ready at 11:30 AM so that you can drop off your carry-ons, etc. and then do whatever you want to do -- lunch -- explore the ship, etc.

If everything goes to schedule, new pax embarkation will commence at 1130 hrs. Staterooms are usually ready between 1130 and 1200. The only thing that can change that is if Mr. Murphy decides to make an appearance in the form of a USCG and/or USPH inspection. Coast Guard inspections generally will include a full crew fire/abandon ship drill which always carries with it the possibility of a delay in servicing those same staterooms

Enjoy that NADM voyage :)
