msmusic Posted March 4, 2017 #1 Share Posted March 4, 2017 We will be arriving in Amsterdam on Liberation Day and I was wondering if the public transportation will be running on a reduced schedule? Also, are there interesting festivities we might enjoy or particularly crowded areas to avoid? Thanks!
Ine Posted March 4, 2017 #2 Share Posted March 4, 2017 Public transport will probably be on a ""Sunday"" schedule, but still frequent. The most known concert is in the evening of May 5 along river Amstel, the King and Queen will attent this. Often during the day there will be festivities in Vondelpark and Museumplein, but I havenot seen any details yet.
