Gluten Free on the Fascination

I am happy to read that Carnival has tasty gluten free options, but does anyone have some ideas for when we get off the ship? Perhaps special "island foods" we should make sure to try that will be safe, or places to eat that cater to gluten free customers? We already have rum tasting on our list!;pThanks for the help!

We have other allergies.

 

We use allergy cards, complete with the local language and pictures. We've made ours but you can by some online.

 

Might want to ask on the Port of Call board and specify which islands you'll be visiting.

I'm actually hoping for some specific restaurant or food recommendations for lunch at the ports...

I feel like it makes a difference if the gluten free is just that or is it also a cross contamination issue when looking for advise.
