Canada Rocks Posted March 5, 2017 #1 Share Posted March 5, 2017 I will definitely have to iron my clothes when I unpack. Does Norwegian have an ironing room or can I request an iron from customer service. I have sailed most other cruise lines this is my first time Norwegian can't wait to see what it is like. ready2cruzagain Posted March 5, 2017 #2 Share Posted March 5, 2017 No ironing rooms, you can ask your cabin steward for an iron. Have you tried Downy Wrinkle Release. I use it when we go on a cruise and it works great.

Your room steward can get you an iron and ironing board. They only let you keep it a short while (since it is a fire hazard). So,,, plan on getting your ironing done quickly. The ship's laundry also offers pressing on embarkation day for a 50% discount.

ProfessorandtheGeek Posted March 5, 2017 #10 Share Posted March 5, 2017 I thought the same thing when I went to Alaska last May. I was afraid I would be doing a great deal of ironing after embarkation. Then, someone told me about Downy Wrinkle Release. What a lifesaver! I sprayed all of my clothes ( as well as my husbands) as I took them out of the suitcase when I hung them in the closet. Then at night I would choose the next days outfit. If it needed spraying again, I would spritz it and hang it in the bathroom, so when we took showers the steam would help the wrinkles hang out. I never ironed once on that cruise. Also, steamers are not allowed onboard either. I hope this helps! Happy sailing!
cage keeper Posted March 5, 2017 #11 Share Posted March 5, 2017 We always send all our stuff out to be ironed. They do a great job and it's not expensive.
