11:45 flight off the Sun Princess in March

It seems like all the noon to 2:00 flights have disappeared. Wondering what the debark times have been from the Sun? Would like to know if it is possible

to make an 11:45 flight in crowded FLL airport.

Anyone know if this is possible?

You shouldn't have problems with this time. We always make 11:30 flights and always seem to make them with plenty of time to spare. There are rare circumstances that would prevent you from making it but I would go for it.

If it is on a Saturday or Sunday it could be tight - FLL is like a zoo on weekends - if on a weekday - No Problem Mon!

You might want to check Cruise Ship Calendar. You can see how many ships embark/disembark that day and given the size or passenger load of each ship make some estimate of what FLL (or any other airport) would see for crowds. You have to roughly double the bed count of these ships - as many may embark and disembark - all between 9:00 and 4:00 ! !

 

My wife and I have been through FLL with seven ships in one day and it was NOT a pretty situation - 3 of which were the 'BIG" ships. If you figure 2200 per ship, 7 ships, that's 30,800 passegers! :eek: Not all of them fly, but you get some idea of what FLL might look like.

Don't forget to look at how many ships are going into and out of Miami that day as well as a lot of those passengers will fly into and out of FLL for cheaper fares.
