RCI sponsored shore excursion / Tortolla - Dolphins

Recommended Posts

My wife, daughter (10) and I will be on the Harmony later this year. We were on the Royal website looking at their excursions for the cruise, and signed up for / booked the day trip from St. Thomas to Tortolla for the swim with the dolphins, as the price was reasonable.

What increased our "comfort level" was that the excursion is offered via RCL, in the event (unlikely as we hope) that there's a logistical issue with the transfers. The excursion, as offered, shows us arriving STT at 8:00 AM, departing the ship at 8:30, and is scheduled for 6 1/2 hours -- with sail away at 6PM that evening.

Has anyone done this trip via RCL? Any thoughts, good or bad, would be appreciated. We are looking at this as a once in a lifetime excursion for us, and being the obsessive compulsive that I am, am trying to figure out both the good and the bad logistics before hand.

Thanks,

Michael
