casino rate

It was my wife on a Premier cruise back in January. I had booked so got the premier offer. She had premier offers but were for cruises after that one. They are the funky chips that you can't get cash for. They make you play them.....lol

Well then hopefully you win. Then they would wish they would have just gave you the cash. I know the odds are still in their favor, but it would be nice to have that happen. I have never spent enough in the casino to get a Premier offer.

We both had the casino rate offer with $50 cash. We booked under my name with my offer. I got my $50. We assumed that since he had the offer, but didn't book under his that he would still get the $50 cash too. But that wasn't the case.

You definitely should have both got it. It's tied to his VIFP number. The first Casino offer my mom and I had we shared a cabin and both got our cash, no issues. I was primary on the booking. After that the offers were so good, we got our own cabins.

I would write to the Player's Club. If he had it in his VIFP offers at the time of sailing, he was entitled to it.

The Premier's are a lot of fun. I got the latest Ultra offers and was disappointed with them. If I book a premier i get casino cash, nothing if I book an Ultra. Seemed odd. We cruise the Splendor a week from Saturday on a free 8 day. I've e-mailed the casino to see about the DOU cards (both over 5000pts last cruise) and they would only say check with the casino host when we get on board.

I agree you both should have gotten the casino cash. My wife and I both had the casino rate with some cash and I booked under my name. My PVP came back and told me my cash amount and also mentioned the cash amount for my wife. I never mentioned that she had the casino offer, so somehow they do link it to your VIFP number.

Personally I have never had a problem getting casino cash, even when another person made the booking or if particular sailing "sold out" of casino rate eligible cabins before I booked.

There are tricks to insuring that they give you the earned perks, one being at least 1 month prior to embarkation emailing the OPC for verification, be sure to include each gambling passenger's name as it appeared on the last cruise (make a notation if it has changed since then), the VIFP number (and if you've been sailing w/ CCC long enough the original OPC player's # as well), the ship's name, sail date, booking #, and cabin #, then tuck the reply in with your other cruise documents. The second effective way is to have the mailer w/ the casino offer or a screen shot of the "MY VIFP Offers" that states how much the included casino is.

One sailing they did not have DH on the perk list, so we just showed then the offer letter in his name showing he was due $40 as part of a PNP code, and not only did they honor the letter (as well as sending a second fruit basket) but they gave him an OPC polo shirt as a "Sorry" gift.
