Price drop

My price dropped overnight! My trip is fully paid and it was a rate with price protection. It came with $50.00 on board credit. If I claim this new price, that doesn't come with on board credit, will I loose the credit that I currently have?

Yeah when you submit a price protection claim you forfeit any promotional OBC that you already had. For example, for my next cruise I had $50 OBC, then found a $60 price drop. After I submitted it, since I lost the $50 OBC but received $60 OBC from the price drop, I only came out $10 ahead

Darn! I would come off with a $20 loss

Yep,,,,you've got to figure all the angles, and see what works the best for you. Sometimes it's better just to wait and see what happens, rather than lose an OBC. I too, have had it happen both ways.
