Pre-cruise hotel suggestion for Vancouver

Our stay was in 2010, so cannot speak to current conditions of the hotel, it worked very well for the six of us. We stayed at the Landis Hotel and Suites (reviews still seem good). They have an Executive Suite with two separate bedrooms and a sofa bed AND they offer a shuttle to the cruise port. The hotel is very reasonably priced for downtown Vancouver.

We stayed at the Delta Suites a few years ago. The Delta chain is now owned by Marriott. We walk a lot and just walked to the ship terminal, but it would be a short cab ride for most.

Delta Vancouver Suites is a lovely hotel. We stayed there in August,'16. Just walked to the ship, very easy.

We live just outside of Vancouver, and when we stay there overnight- our favourite hotel is The Wedgewood.

Great service, rooms, bar and ambience!

Another vote for the wedgewood! We live in Vancouver and love it! You can find good deals on their website

We stayed at L'Hermitage Hotel and it was wonderful - not at Canada Place or walking distance to the Port though - 5 minute cab ride. Vancouver is relatively small. From memory, the Fairmount and the Pan Pacific are the closest - the check-in and embarkation is actually connected to the Pan Pacific so ignoring cost - it would be the most convenient

On our last cruise from Vancouver, we stayed at the Pan Pacific. It was a great hotel and you can't find a hotel more convenient for cruises sailing from Canada Place! Unfortunately this time the Pan Pacific was too pricey so we had to look elsewhere. For our May 2017 sailing, my husband just found a great deal on Expedia for La Grande Residence at Sutton Place. It is connected to the Sutton Place Hotel and is all suites. We got a one bedroom suite (w/living room and kitchen) for not much more than we would have paid for a standard room elsewhere in Vancouver. They also have 2 bedroom/2 bathroom suites available which might be perfect for the OP's needs. It looks to be about .5 miles from the port.

Pan Pacific is a gorgeous hotel with spectacular views and right on the waterfront. It's actually a part of the cruise terminal and while the restaurant is lovely it's quite pricey. Tim Horton is across the street. If walking is no issue I would suggest walking along the waterfront about 1/4 mile to several really good restaurants.

On our cruise out of Vancouver we arrived the afternoon before and stayed at the Days Inn. It was very basic but very affordable. ($92 incl taxes and fees for a double). We had a cheap, prepaid rate that I found on one of the European discount companies thru a comparison website. It was quiet in that section of downtown in the evening but we walked around and found a very good gastrobar for dinner. The next morning we got up and leisurely walked the two blocks to Canada Place, stopping at a Tim Hortons on the way for breakfast. Here's the view when we turned the corner by our hotel to walk to the ship.
