cruiser02 Posted March 12, 2017 #1 Share Posted March 12, 2017 Booked on our 1st Azamara cruise - a B2B - so wondering if the self service laundry is accessible or crowded on sea days? Not that I want to do laundry but .... with luggage weight allowances !

Hi cruiser02. The laundry activity is very dependant on the cruise you are on. Length, amount of sea days in a row, etc. Most cruises are fairly port intensive, with only a few sea days whilst on board. The laundry does tend to be busy early on the sea days (opens at 8am I think), & goes on in waves during the day until closing (9pm I think). The advantage you have, is that you are on a B2B. There are only a few of you, so changeover day is a very good day to do laundry. It just depends if you are in the same cabin for each leg, otherwise you would need to plan to for this. I have never had any real trouble getting laundry done on Azamara, one cruise there were a few machines out of order that made it limiting. Enjoy your cruise! TravelBugM Posted March 12, 2017 #3 Share Posted March 12, 2017 Hit or miss. Just keep trying. Fun way to get to know fellow passengers. FYI - The supplied detergent has quite a strong scent. We normally use unscented, so take our own. And unscented dryer sheets.
