Hi all,

I planned a walking tour of Nassau for myself and my family, stopping by a few things that interest us. It will be myself, my husband, and our 10 year old son. Here is our plan:

Nassau, Bahamas

Walking Tour

  • Begin at Prince George Wharf (cruise terminal)

  • Pirate Museum: King and George Street. (Turn right on Bay Street, left on George) Hours: 9:00am-6:00pm

  • Public Library: Shirley Street, between Parliament and East Streets. Hours: 10:00am-3:45 pm

  • Queen’s Staircase: Elizabeth Avenue South. From Library: Left on Shirley street, Right on Elizabeth Avenue

  • Fort Finncastle: located next to Queen’s Staircase

  • To get back to cruise terminal, go north on Elizabeth Avenue, left on Bay Street

Is there anything else I should add to this? Any great places to eat on our way through Nassau that we should check out? Any comments welcome!

Thank you for the help!
