shakey999 Posted March 14, 2017 #1 Share Posted March 14, 2017 Booked onto a Transatlantic on Britannia in October and was wondering if anyone knew from experience if it's worthwhile upgrading the flight back from Barbados to Gatwick? It's with Thomson, I've only ever been on a charter with Thomas Cook to Barbados back in 2010. Anyoughts or experiences appreciated 😀 Sent from my PLK-L01 using Forums mobile app
CCFC Posted March 14, 2017 #2 Share Posted March 14, 2017 Its more expensive one way, as its overnight I guess it depends on how good a sleeper you are. If you will be asleep I don't think you will get much benefit in my opinion.
shakey999 Posted March 14, 2017 Author #3 Share Posted March 14, 2017 I actually forgot it was overnight, thanks for that! I've priced it with our TA and they've quite £149 each, not too sure it's worth it especially as Ill probably (hopefully) be asleep! 😐 Sent from my PLK-L01 using Forums mobile app
wowzz Posted March 14, 2017 #4 Share Posted March 14, 2017 Only you can decide if it is worth it to you. All I can say is that you have far more chance of sleeping in the relative quiet of the PE cabin, with reasonable legroom, than being cramped up in the back of the aircraft. annieuk Posted March 15, 2017 #5 Share Posted March 15, 2017 I would upgrade every time. I hate the flight back overnight and anything that makes the experience better is worthwhile in my opinion. The fact that there is more leg room in the Premium cabin is worth the extra alone without the extras in service, food, wine etc. However, only you can decide if you think it's worthwhile for you.
