Name Change at the last minute?

When is the latest date to make a name change in a 4 person stateroom? One of my daughter's friends is coming on a cruise with us but if by some chance she decides not to go at the last minute, can we make a name change and take someone else? Would this be possible even up to the day before we sail? Thanks!

depends how you booked, but probably not

Depends on what rate/promo you booked under, and possibly who answers the phone call. Most likely there will be some sort of fee involved in the change, just give Carnival a call and get the for sure answer.

It will cost you if you booked ER.

We had similar situation and were told the room had to be completely cancelled then rebooked at current rates. Cannot just replace one person in the cabin.

HOWEVER, you might want to call Carnival or your travel agent to know for sure rather than people here, who can only give their experiences or opinions.

I have changed a name on the carnival manage my booking site 51 days from cruise start. No charge but we did not have early saver.

We've changed passengers as late as the morning of sailing. $50.

There is a way to change names with Early Saver but it costs much more than $50.
