Anyone know if there is still a security building inside the tourist area that will stamp your passport?

I believe so at Entrance #2. Not sure about the others. But you can ask your ship's guest services and they'll get your passport stamped for you when customs comes on board.

Is this true for most ports? I wasn't aware and now regret all the places I could have gotten a stamp to go along with my land based vacations abroad.

Yup it's just a tiny building - we were there a few days ago. They have a sign suggesting donations.
