Carnevale Posted March 26, 2017 #1 Share Posted March 26, 2017 I've found the average day and night time temperatures for the ports we'll visit in Sept-Oct on the QE as we sail from Southampton to the Canary Islands and back but what I'm wondering about are the temperatures we'll experience on the sea days when we first leave Southampton and when we head back in. I expect it will be much cooler out on the water but I'm not sure what to expect having never sailed in or out of Southampton so I'm not sure what to plan to take. As the nice spring clothing is out it's a good time to try to get what I want to take with me. I will plan on layers but mainly I'm wondering what type of outerwear jacket I should take for time outside on deck during the sea days. Ladies, any suggestions? cruiseluvva Posted March 26, 2017 #2 Share Posted March 26, 2017 I always take a warm fleece jacket with me and a lightweight summer anorak. Always, even in mid summer. You may also want to take some wraps or pashminas for the evenings as the a/c can be glacial. Have a great time on your cruise and shopping for it.
