Short answer - yes, if you are in a balcony or higher, where it is easier to disconnect the default HDMI input and connect your own - a 6' shielded cable is a minimum, 10' one is better. The physical mounting/location of the Sole TV for the OV and Inside made it very difficult to reach/disconnect & reconnect afterward.

This is assuming that no changes were made since, as some of the ships refurbished & coming out of dry dock reported that the HDMI port has been securely locked, etc. etc.

 

P.S. A compact bluetooth speaker will yield much better sound, or, a good pair of headset for privacy.
