However, when you use your OBC to purchase chips, you are given what are called promotional chips (promo for short)

 

These promo chips cannot be cashed in - you can only use them to play with in the casino. Not a major problem if you wish to play in the casino. You just play them until you lose them. Note: when you win a bet you get your promo chips back plus your winnings in real chips.

 

The promo chips were introduced to prevent people from exchanging OBC for cash by purchasing chips and then cashing them back in without using them for gambling.
