How can I get notifications these are up and posted? I am on the Verizon thing and keep missing them. I see people talk about getting notified and can't figure out how.

Once you post a comment in a thread here, you're "subscribed" to that thread. You can set your CC forum account so you get an email notification every time a new comment is posted in one of your subscribed threads. I'm assuming many people have their smartphones set to alert them of new emails. So some use those notifications in the discount Carnival gift card threads to alert them when they're available. Keep in mind, though, that a new reply in these threads doesn't necessarily mean the cards are available, it just means someone posted something, anything.

 

There's a Cruise Critic smartphone app, and another app commonly used for these boards, so some people are probably using notifications from those apps too.
