OTrail Posted April 2, 2017 #1 Share Posted April 2, 2017 Just wondering if there are any solo cruisers on here who've booked a balcony room and could give any idea on how much more expensive than a normal cabin it is? I'm quite tempted to get a balcony room on my next cruise but aware as I'm a solo cruiser I'll get absolutely hammered with the price.
davecttr Posted April 2, 2017 #2 Share Posted April 2, 2017 If and its a big if, you can persuade them to sell you a double cabin for single occupancy you should expect to pay the same price as 2 people sharing that cabin. In other words a 100% single supplement.

davecttr Posted April 3, 2017 #4 Share Posted April 3, 2017 Solo prices can be good on Thomson. For example a 14 nighter on Discovery next January in the Caribbean is £3348 for a couple and £2235 for a single cabin. that is a supplement over the price one of a couple would pay of 33.5%, a bargain in my opinion. Sent from my VF-895N using Forums mobile app My apologies, I was looking at the deck plan on the Thomson site where those balcony cabins don't seem to have a category? There is no online brochure available either. Edited April 3, 2017 by davecttr
