bjay3 Posted April 3, 2017 #1 Share Posted April 3, 2017 Has anyone stopped in Newcastle recently. Have been looking at getting into the city. On one web site they say there is a shuttle bus that goes to the shopping centre and Tynemouth train station, anyone seen this? On other sites, it appears you are on your own to get to transportation and into the city. If so, there must be a train station fairly near the port? GUT2407 Posted April 3, 2017 #4 Share Posted April 3, 2017 The shuttle takes you to Queens Wharf. Oooops ignore that, I thought we were talking about my Newcastle (Australia) not yours.
terry2 Posted April 3, 2017 #5 Share Posted April 3, 2017 Has anyone stopped in Newcastle recently. Have been looking at getting into the city. It is usually simpler to just take a taxi into town and also to get back. If there is more than one person it could well work out cheaper too.
