MrsSimon513 Posted April 7, 2017 #1 Share Posted April 7, 2017 We will be cruising on the Anthem in July with our 2 year old daughter. She's a small girl (healthy, but on the bottom of those fancy growth charts). We think she'll be potty trained by our trip, but because of her size, she needs one of those child inserts to go on the seat or else someone has to dangle her precariously over the gaping hole to pottyland. We bought a "travel" and foldable seat, but it really only works for round toilet bowls, not the elongated oval kind. So here's my "you know you're a parent when" question: What shape are the toilet bowls on the Anthem :P
cruisenfever Posted April 7, 2017 #2 Share Posted April 7, 2017 They are the elongated style and not round. If you do a Google Search of "Bathrooms on Anthem of the Seas" it will show you pictures.
4everAfamily Posted April 7, 2017 #3 Share Posted April 7, 2017 We didn't use the foldable travel seat because it slid around too much. We brought our son's regular seat from home. A good one to try is OXO Tot Sit Right. It works with any shape toilet and doesn't slip.
ImpulsivePuppy Posted April 7, 2017 #4 Share Posted April 7, 2017 Do you have a balcony room? We just held our child over the side of the balcony when he had to go. :') Only kidding, we brought a 'potty seat' many, many years ago and it worked fine, though this was on NCL.
