Week to go! 11/27 Rhapsody of the Seas

To say that we are exciting is an understatement.:D We are 2 couples in are mid 20's and can't wait to have our FIRST cruise on the Rhapsody out of Galveston. So what should we expect? What has everyone else experienced on this ship? Thanks

If you go to Kamikaze Kareoke say hi to Derek for us. It is a kick and fun to sit up there in the Schooner Bar and have a drink. I won't explain what it is as you have to just enjoy it and experience it.

 

We also enjoyed the Pool Bar and the Cocktail Seminar. You should try that one and enjoy an afternoon of drinking.

 

You will enjoy the atmosphere of the friendly Texans on board too.

What should you expect?

Expect to meet the friendliest people who float the ocean. 95% of the PAX are Texans, can I say more. The staff on Rhapsody are the best of ANY cruiseline, including Royal Caribbean.

Expect smiles from the workmen, expect cute towel animals from Steward, expect hugs from the waiters.

Expect to loose your budget in the Casino, expect a fabulous whirlpool in the Solarium without screaming kids.

Expect your Foo Foo drinks will add up to a very healthy sea pass bill.

Expect to begin planning your next cruise on Rhapsody. You will be ruined for life. You WILL become a cruise fanatic!!

Expect that I may show up on the dock wanting to stow away in one of your bags!:eek:

I would say expect your addiction to begin!! :) You'll find once you've cruised you're perception of a vacation will be forever changed. Just like potato chips, you can't have just one!

Thanks everyone that replied now we really cant wait!

lindalu62 as for us going to Cozumel. It still shows that we are but I guess we will see when we get one the boat. Crossing my fingers.
