Got upgrade call today for May 8th sailing Alaska 300 per for ext balcony from French door. Hope it was a good deal cause I said yes.

 

8th floor highest I have been on ship and only my second balcony. I have seen concerns about deck noise and am hoping it won't be bad.

Expensive but I bet it'll be worth it for the Alaska itinerary.

Think you made the right call, $300 isn't terrible especially when you'll get a ton of use out of the balcony to see the scenery without having to fight the crows up top like you would've with your old room. Enjoy!
