Reserving Specialty Restaurants Online

Our next NCL cruise(s) are still over a year away.

hubby & I are Platinum, and we've been told that as Platinum Latitude members, we will get a complimentary dinner for two on each of the cruises we are booked on, at our choice of the ship's specialty restaurants, including Cagney's (yay! it wasn't included on our cruises last Fall).

We learned that you need to reserve as early as possible, since we didn't have much to choose from when we finally got on board.

But, never having reserved online before, I'm not sure how to do it.....or if maybe we are still too far out to have it available online.

Dining reservations will open up to you at 90 days out form your voyage. If you are in a suite, they open up at 100 days out.

To complete the reservation in MyNCL, click on Explore and Plan, then Dining.

Thanks!

Also, to clarify, it's not entirely at your choice of specialty restaurants. You will get a dinner for 2 at your choice of either Cagney's or Le Bistro and a bottle of wine.

You will also get dinner for 2 at your choice of either Moderno or La Cucina.

Online reservations are easy to do and better yet you avoid the lines at the guest services desk. The one draw back is that they do not transfer over to the NCL on-board app.

The Platinum benefit rules seem to in flux. I have seen that you need to make reservations at the CruiseNext desk on the first day as you have to for the behind the scenes tour and the cocktail party), but a look at the rewards today (see below) no longer has that stipulation.

5 Benefit entitles each guest to one appetizer, one entrée and one dessert of your choice. Entrée items up to $20 are covered. For items over this amount, an upcharge will be added to your onboard account. Entrée item Côte De Boeuf Pour Deux in Le Bistro, is a shared dish and will be treated as two entrées.
