frogster1028 Posted April 13, 2017 #1 Share Posted April 13, 2017 We are so excited about taking our first cruise as a family. Only 3 more days till we cruise on the Magic! How much US cash should we take? Are there cash machines on board?
estillcrew Posted April 13, 2017 #2 Share Posted April 13, 2017 I usually take $100 cash per port day for taxis, tips, street vendors, etc. I can use my credit card for most restaurants, shops, and excursions, so I try to limit the amount of cash I carry. summersigh Posted April 13, 2017 #5 Share Posted April 13, 2017 I always go to the bank and get a stack of $1's and $5's to have handy for tipping etc. What I don't use on the cruise I spend at home afterwards.:)
GranysT Posted April 13, 2017 #6 Share Posted April 13, 2017 Yes, there is at least 1, maybe more ATM's on board. Not sure if they would take non U.S. credit cards.
frogster1028 Posted April 13, 2017 Author #7 Share Posted April 13, 2017 Thank you for all the replies!!! I talked to my agent about pre-paying for tipping, but she said we were too close to sailing. Is there another way to pre-pay tips?
KPfromCT Posted April 13, 2017 #8 Share Posted April 13, 2017 I believe you can go to Guest Services, once onboard and take care of it there. Happy Sailing!!!!

Is there another way to pre-pay tips? Don't worry about it. They'll add them to the credit card on file.
