SweetsugarNL Posted April 14, 2017 #1 Share Posted April 14, 2017 I was wondering what type ship is right for us. I wold like to cruise with a big schip with many food options. I have seen a cruise with the Navigator, thats a nice ship i think. If i wait for a Europe cruise next year comes Symphony of the seas. I think the oasis class is the best type for us but they are only in Florida. I debt between a Florida or Europe cruise. In Europe there are only "small" RCL ships this year like Rapsody of the seas. Anyone advice?
Clarea Posted April 14, 2017 #2 Share Posted April 14, 2017 If you are looking for larger ships based in Europe, this summer Royal has Independence out of Southampton and Freedom out of Barcelona.

Anyone advice? If you can wait till Symphony is out next year then book her now for Europe because she won't be doing it again for at least 5 years after her first sailing. It will usually do a 1 week W Med which is nice. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
SweetsugarNL Posted April 14, 2017 Author #4 Share Posted April 14, 2017 Is this standard that the new big ships only cruise a few months in Europe? What type ship is also nice for many food options and entertainment? I debt to fly to Florida for a cruise with the Navigator or a oasis class ship or wait for the Symphony. The Symphony only does a Spain / France route.

The new ships do the Med the first year they are out. Then they are home ported wherever but don't usually return for Med cruises till dry-docked after 5 years. Oasis and Allure did this. SweetsugarNL Posted April 14, 2017 Author #8 Share Posted April 14, 2017 The Symphony does take the same route as Royal and Freedom now so than its worth to wait till next year. Maybe we woult like to spend our Holidays in Florida so then i can choose a Caribbean cruise but the prices are verry high.
grapau27 Posted April 15, 2017 #9 Share Posted April 15, 2017 We found once we sailed Allure and Harmony we didn't fancy a smaller ship because we loved Central Park. Symphony will probably do the Freedom itinerary as Harmony did in 2016 and Allure did in 2015 43 cruises and counting.

grapau27 Posted April 15, 2017 #11 Share Posted April 15, 2017 They sail out of Barcelona so you should easily get flights from Schifol Amsterdam airport. 43 cruises and counting.
