Refund of OBC?

My travel agent is providing me with a large OBC. If I don't use all of it, does NCL refund the balance? Do they refund it to the travel agent or to me? I've been unable to get any answer from NCL. What are your experiences with unused OBC?

If it's refundable NCL will give it back. Ask your TA if it's non refundable or not. I would make sure I spent it all....Cruise Next deposits. Don't sign up for DSC till you get onboard, then do it and it will come out of your OBC. Excursions sign up onboard and it will come out of your OBC.

Please clarify. We will be getting OBC from ncl as part of the promotion plus some shareholder obc. I was under the impression that it could NOT be used to pay the daily service charge. I will be happy to learn I am wrong.

That is the way I understand it as well. Any OBC given by NCL can not be used for DSC, but OBC given by a TA can.

Thank you all for your speedy and helpful replies. I will have to check on whether the OBC is refundable or not. If not, I'm going to spend it all!

just off the Breakaway a week ago: if the OBC is refundale it will be just that: refundable; if it is part of a promotion or a credit for being a share holder it is not refundable. We had about $150 is refundable and another $100 in non refundable; we did not use all the non refundable so we lot it: it isn't the end of the world as long as the reason you booked was not because of OBC.:cool: btw: I wouldn't expect a reservations agent or whomever you talked with at NCL to know the answer.
