Star suite, tips for staff

When we sail in May our tips are already included for our room steward but we have now upgraded to a suite so believe we have to tip butler and concierge (providing we use them at all and happy with the service they provide). Do we tip in cash and should it be dollars or euros - the cruise is in Europe.

Dollars or Euros - whichever is convenient for you. Either will be gratefully accepted.

Exactly. Plus they will give you a copy of the voucher that you can present to the crew member.

I always go down to the customer service desk and put it on my shipboard account. They notify the concierge of your gift. It's best to go early in the day or the NEXT to last night. Line is much shorter.

Is it still true?  Can you still  put the tips for the  butler and  concierge on your account?  

Also if using cash tips, do we use dollars or pesos for a Mexican Riviera cruise?  Cruise departs And returns from/to San Pedro.
