SadieN Posted April 23, 2017 #4 Share Posted April 23, 2017 Have you asked on the NCL board? Is it a casino rate or cruise? Sent from my iPhone using Forums
cuterlmt Posted April 23, 2017 Author #5 Share Posted April 23, 2017 It's a CAS booked cruise. Won a free cruise at a land based casino and was given a free cruise as a VIP guest. Combined the two for back to back Vancouver to Seward and back. I will check on the NCL board. Thanks!
Warbird Posted April 26, 2017 #6 Share Posted April 26, 2017 I tried to find it via search. Just thought I'd see if anyone knows. I'll make an educated guess and say no. With that said this is what I remember from last year and two previous cruises since then. There is a line for first time NCL passengers and Latitude passengers. There is also a line for Suite and handicap passengers. I may have seen a sign for CAS passengers, but once through the registration process Suite and handicap passengers are directed to their special area for boarding. Sometimes a number system is used for secondary boarding, but usually a call is made to the room asking for Platinum or up passengers for priority boarding. That has been my experience. The process starts by going through Immirgation first in Vancouver and then onto NCL registration in another area. Maybe someone who has traveled CAS can shed more light on the situation. cuterlmt Posted April 26, 2017 Author #7 Share Posted April 26, 2017 Thanks for the educated guess. We are first time NCL cruisers as well. Hubby wants to get aboard EARLY, although I would like to have a leisurely morning.....
shadowmeboy Posted April 26, 2017 #8 Share Posted April 26, 2017 You will check in with NCL and then have to go through security, US CBP screening and then finally onto the ship. No specific lines for CAS in Vancouver.
