cruzanisfun Posted April 23, 2017 #1 Share Posted April 23, 2017 I'm bummed because we are going to be there on a holiday, and there are a couple of things I wanted to do there that aren't open on holidays. Has anyone else experienced this before? We are there ALL day, as in 7 am to 8:30 pm, and this is the one port stop I'm having trouble with. Thanks for any help you can provide! The only thing I've seen close on Holidays are banks and government offices . The Alaska ports have a limited time to make money to hold them over the winter. wolfie11 Posted April 23, 2017 #3 Share Posted April 23, 2017 I'm pretty sure most of the ship excursions run, but it's up to private vendors whether they run tours. What did you want to do?
cruzanisfun Posted April 24, 2017 Author #4 Share Posted April 24, 2017 There's some vaudeville show I wanted to go to that has shows every day but Labor Day. And multiple shows on most days. Also some of the stuff at the national park is closed.
wolfie11 Posted April 24, 2017 #5 Share Posted April 24, 2017 The Days of 98 show is closed that day, but the park is open and operating on a normal schedule. Their web site shows all their ranger walks and tours as running.
