Atlantis - Nassau

Our first cruise! ... Our stop in Nassau I just want to go to the casino at Atlantis for a while. Then wander around the property looking at the aquariums. I'm just not sure to go about that. Can we just take a cab or shuttle from the port? Once there can we just play at the casino and wander a bit or is there some check in or day use fee?

yes you can tak a cab or a ferry to the atlantis and use the casino as well as see some of the grounds-You cant use pools or beach without a room key

Easy, breezy to do. No day pass needed. The Casino is pretty awesome if you like to gamble.

how much is a cab to get to the atlantis and how long does it take to get there

 

so you can just go to the beach - I assume there are changing facilities

Wife and I were there via taxi in 2010. Walked around and saw some of the fish, etc. Visited in 2015 with our daughter who was 4 at the time in hopes of showing her what we saw previously and were not able to see hardly anything. We walked a few hallways and that was about it. Seemed to be very restrictive. We won't visit it again unless we book a dedicated excursion there.
