cruisecookie Posted May 1, 2017 #1 Share Posted May 1, 2017 Several cruise lines offer a Costa Maya excursion to the private Beach Escape Beach Club. I can't find any information about this club. Has anyone been on this excursion? Please tell me more. Where exactly is the beach? Does it have a different name? Is it an all inclusive? Thanks. Rare crewsweeper Posted May 1, 2017 #2 Share Posted May 1, 2017 Depends on the description of the excursion. If it is indeed at a private/ exclusive to cruise ships beach club and mentions transportation to and from the beach, most likely its up at Uvero Beach which is north of Costa Maya, about a 30 minute bus trip. If it mentions Mahahual or the malecon and indicates you make your own way there or can come back when ever you want via a taxi, then it could be one of several beach clubs along the malecon--Barefoot Beach and YaYas are the most commonly used, but Krazy Lobster and Big Mamas have had beach club breaks as well. If it's via Island Marketing, not likely a ship sponsored excursion, then it's Nohoch kay.
cruisecookie Posted May 1, 2017 Author #3 Share Posted May 1, 2017 Thanks, crewsweeper -- I finally got thru to the excursion desk at Celebrity (our cruise line) and they said it was Uvero Beach Club.
