spidybabe Posted May 1, 2017 #1 Share Posted May 1, 2017 How busy does Bermuda get right before, and at the start of the Americas Cup? We were thinking of sailing there on the BA, which departs the day the racing starts. We have been there in the past, but bringing DD and SIL and want them to be able to appreciate Bermuda. Thanks for any info Safe sailing
ac35 Posted May 1, 2017 #2 Share Posted May 1, 2017 have seen questions about crowds. to soon to tell, but i can tell you the races will be short. at two 20-30 min races a day, these will be drag races.

The Americas Cup has never been contested in Bermuda prior to this year, so there's no way to answer your question, but there is expected to be a substantial increase in tourism to Bermuda due to the races being held there.
