Courtyard Miami South Beach Anyone?

We have decided on Courtyard Miami South Beach on Washington Avenue today for our pre cruise stay. Has anyone stayed here and if so did you like it and are there places to eat breakfast & lunch & dinner other than the hotel near by. And sorry one more question is it safe to venture out in the day time say 1 pm to 7 pm. Thank you all for you time and trouble and information if you have any.

I hear the hotel is in transition ...... best to check reviews onTripadvisor.

I have read several reviews some good some bad. But I always like to get my cruise critic family to give me there options :)

I love this hotel!

 

Great rooftop pool!

 

Just make sure you are staying in South Beach and not the one in Miami Beach.

 

They've redone the common areas. Not sure what the transition comment is about. Yes, the area is safe.
