Dining on Serenade Upon Embarkation

Does the Serenade of Seas have A MDR open for lunch upon embarking or do you have to eat at the buffet?

MDR is not open for lunch on embarkation day.

 

Choices are Windjammer (buffet) and Park Cafe in the Solarium.

Thanks. We are used to sailing on NCL & they have one MDR open when you embark. That makes it so nice to have a quiet & lesss crowded meal .

We prefer the WJ on Serenade as opposed to other ships we have sailed because you can sit outside at the back and enjoy the breeze and the view. We find it is not that crowded at the beginning of the cruise, until more and more passengers find out about it! LOL

 

Go to Windjammer, enjoy the offerings. :) For us, it signals the start of our cruise vacation, crowds and all.
