This may be an odd question but is the temperature of the Celebrity Theater and other social areas usually kept cold or just the opposite?

A bit cold. I usually wear a cardigan over a blouse or bolero to my dresses :)

The public areas are always chilly.

Usually cool, but we've been in some places where it's warm. We both take a jacket or sweater when going to the theater or dining room.

I usually assume that restaurants etc. on land or sea are going to be over cooled and so I usually have sweater or jacket when I go to dinner or a theater. I have been pleasantly surprised to find Celebrity quite comfortable most of the time. I see you are from Georgia. My experience in the South is that most public places are too cold. If that is what you are accustomed to, than you might find Celebrity a bit warmer than you might prefer.
