Upgrading soda package

We are booked on Anthem over Christmas. Our TA is gifting us a soda package. If my husband decides he wants the alcohol package can we upgrade it onboard? If not, will it be available to purchase onboard since it's a Holiday cruise? I'm just trying to decide whether it's better to pre buy for him since we aren't losing anything or wait if we can pay the difference.

I don't believe you can upgrade a gifted soda package.

 

 

The drink package is always available onboard, as long as there are at least 4 days left in the cruise.

 

However, check your Cruise Planner because the drink package may be on sale.

Have your TA order the Drinks Package instead of the soda package and pay them the difference
