Santo Tomas Guatemala

Has anyone done the Countryside and Rio Deluce half day tour? Was it worth the money? Do you go through small villages? Any markets? Are there drivers at the port that you can hire? Any suggestions for this port would be appreciated.

Hey, I'm in the same boat. (So to speak!). We are doing the 12/19 sailing on the Volendam, and it's been really tough to get information/review about Santo Tomas and its excursions. Any thoughts/reviews from folks who had been to that port would be MUCH appreciated!

We too are stopping in Santo Tomas in January aboard the Norwegian Sun. Since this is a new port for this itinerary, after Katrina made it necessary, we have no information yet. Anyone with something to share would be appreciated.
