Shore Excursion - Opinion - Sea Trek St Maarten

What are your thoughts/opinions/experiences regarding the Sea Trek excursion on St Maarten?

We did the Sea Trek in San Juan. Definitely a must do excursion; not sure if the port really matters, but I would imagine they would be the same just about everywhere. I also really recommend getting an underwater camera; we bought a really nice Nikon for about $300 for my husband who is big into photography, and a cheap used Fuji for abut $50 for me. Was definitely a highlight of our trip, and the photographs were amazing

We did the Sea Trek excursion in 2011 while visiting St Thomas. It was the highlight of the trip!

Another vote for yes! We did it in St Thomas as well and it was amazing!

We did this in 2016 in St Maarten and we loved it!! I got really nervous just before we did it because they make a HUGE deal about being able to equalize the pressure of your ears. To the point where I started to freak out. But, if you can pop your ears on an airplane you are fine.

 

I was the first one down in my group so I got to go down then watch as one by one the 11 or so others slowly came down the ladder.

 

Make sure to buy an underwater digital camera. I have amazing pictures and photos of the experience. You will love it!!
